Antique Lighting
Interior plaster ceiling moulds were restored where possible throughout this historic home. The above new lighting mould was re cast as the old casting was unable to be restored.
The casting was sealed using a primer/sealer/undercoat then coated with flat ceiling white and finished using a low sheen gold tinted acrylic.
The gold distressed effect was achieved using a sponge and a cloth. The ceiling was sealed with gib sealer, sanded and finished with a flat ceiling white
